Mary Frances Calhoon (Wray) - Class Of 1945

MARY FRANCES WRAY Mar y Wray, 91, of Delphi, passed away at her residence on May 15, 2018. She was born on April 28, 1927 in Kokomo to the late Harry Lee and Bernadine (Wimmer) Calhoon. She attended Pittsburg, Indiana schools.

She married Delbert Wray on Feb. 5, 1944 in Delphi and he preceded her on June 19, 1995.

Mrs. Wray retired from Globe Valve in Delphi after 24 years where she worked in the Grinding Dept.

She was a member of the Delphi VFW Auxiliary; American Legion Auxiliary and she attended the United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, fishing and crocheting. She loved making homemade noodles, butter brickle, and divinity. She loved her family and looked forward to getting together with them.

She is survived by her children: Jack Duane Wray of Delphi, Jacquelyn (Jim) Maxson of Monticello, Roxanna Stoner of Wabash, 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded by her daughters: Robin Lee Gustafson and Karen Sue Grimes; grandsons: Russell Grimes and Thomas Edward Stoner; brothers: Lee Harry and Gordon Wayne Calhoon; sisters: Gloria Pitzer and Phyllis Jean Ball.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Pastor Eric Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg.
