Charlotte Knott (Jewett) - Class Of 1966

Charlotte S. Knott Jewett, 66, of New Salisbury, died Fri-Aug 16, 2013, in Floyd Memorial Hospital-New Albany.

She was born Nov 22, 1946 in Indianapolis, to the late Charles Knott and Bessie Sprowl Griffin.

Her marriage was to Richard L Jewett Sr in Kokomo, on Dec 31, 1969, and he survives.

She attended Delphi High School, and attended the Cottage Street Church of Christ.

She worked at I.P.C. in Delphi in security, and the former Shell and Dairy Barn Gas stations, and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, and dearly loved her family.

Surviving: hus-Richard L. Jewett, New Salisbury; dau's-Angela & Randy Beaty, Amboy; Diana & Zachariah Downham, Delphi; sons: Sam Joe & Tricia Hayden Jr, New Salisbury; Anthony D Jewett, Lake Charles, LA; James & Nannette Jewett, Logansport; sis: Jean & Greg Hamilton, Flora; bro: Robert & Rebecca Knott, Flora; 16 grand & 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded by a grandson.

Services: Friends may call Thursday from 11am until her funeral at 12:30pm at Abbott Funeral Home-Delphi. Pastor Jeff Kilber officiating, burial at Masonic Cemetery-Delphi.
