Wayne Logsdon - Class Of 1963

Wayne Clifford Logsdon, 68, of Delphi, passed away at 10:54 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Born December 2, 1944 in Kentucky, he was the son of the late Leo Logsdon and Georgia (Haire) Logsdon of Delphi.

Wayne was the owner of the Sunoco Gas Station in Delphi. He attended the Church of Christ, coached Little League baseball, and enjoyed mushroom hunting, sprint cars, and watching NASCAR.

Surviving is a son, Mark Logsdon of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Justin and Taylor Logsdon; two great grandchildren, Isabella and Connor Logsdon ex-wife, Pamela Friday; two brothers, Junior Logsdon (wife, Arlene) of California, Larry Logsdon (wife, Jennie) of Lafayette; and six sisters, Barbara Cox (husband, Eddie Joe) of Indianapolis, Kay Goyer (husband, Kevin) of Delphi, Sue Miller (husband, Melvin) of Lafayette, Charlotte Wooldridge (husband, Pete) of Delphi, Sharon Pattengale (husband, Dusty) of Lafayette, and Janice Pettit (husband, Ned) of Bringhurst. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Flannigan and a nephew, Junior Riley.

Visitation one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday at Simplicity Funeral Care. Burial to follow at Morning Heights Cemetery in Delphi.
