Rhonda Schrader (Pendleton) - Class Of 1976

Rhonda L. Schrader Huffer Pendleton, 41, of Delphi, died at noon Oct. 11, 1999, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette. She had been involved in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 5 in rural Carroll County. Born Dec. 12, 1957, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Lois Zumbrun Schrader. She married Don Pendleton in 1994 at her father's house. She was a 1976 graduate of Delphi High School and had worked at Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette for three years. She enjoyed landscaping, gardening, the outdoors, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and listening to music. Surviving are her father of Delphi, one daughter, Katherine Nichole Huffer, and one son, John Paul Huffer, both of Delphi; three sisters, Beth Schrader-Myers, Jackie Wolf; and JoJo Griffith, all of Delphi, one stepson, Seth Pendleton of Danville, and one stepdaughter, Emily Pendleton of Cutler. She was preceded in death by her mother. Services will be today (Wednesday) at 7:30 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Butcher officiating. Friends may call today from 4-7 p.m. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Bright National Bank in Delphi, in memory of Rhonda, for her children.
