Harry Cooper

Harry Cooper, 51, died unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack in his home at Elkhart Saturday. He was a teacher in Delphi High School during the school year 1947-48 and was coach for the first football team after the game was revived at Delphi following a lapse of some 30 years. The team played a “B” team schedule. A retired teacher and selfemployed, he was married to the former Waunita Haslet of Delphi who survives with four children. Among those attending services Tuesday at Elkhart were his brother-and sister-in-law, Dohald and Wilma Hutson, and family of Brookston. Burial was at Elkhart.
