 Donnabelle B. Zook Clawson, 96, of Delphi passed away on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 at Wellington Reflections & Memory Care, Kokomo, IN.
Donnabelle was born on Feb. 11, 1918 in Carroll County to the late David Franklin and Cora (Pullen) Zook. Donnabelle attended Delphi Schools.
She married Mahlon K. “Skinny” Clawson on Aug. 26, 1936 in Flora, IN he preceded her in death on March 19, 1998.
Mrs. Clawson retired after working numerous years in the cafeteria at the former New Hope School and Delphi High School.
She was a member of the Radnor United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed hand making quilts, embroidery and sewing. In later years she also enjoyed word search puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Stockton (husb: Terry) of Kokomo, and granddaughter, Lori Phillips (Husb: Michael) and 2 great Grandchildren Luke and Lily Phillips also of Kokomo.
She was preceded by her 9 brothers and 6 sisters.
Visitation will from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service on Dec. 11, 2014 at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Pastor Ed Selvidge will officiate. Burial will be in Maplelawn Cemetery, Flora.
