Charles B. Thompson, 63, 2919 Greenbush St., Lafayette, died Friday, August 21, 1981, in Indiana University Medical Center, In dianapolis. He was born at Pittsburg and lived there before going to Lafayette in 1949. He was a graduate of Delphi High School and had attended Lafayette Business College. He worked in the cold mold finishing department at Rostone for 27 years, retiring in 1979. He was a World War II army veteran, serving in the European Theatre. In 1949 he tfas married at Lafayette to Hilma Moore. He was a member of American Legion Post 11, and was a life member of DAV. Surviving with the wife arc three sisters, Alma Zaring of St. Louis, Mo., Margaret Maxwell of Muncie, and Josephine Parker of Bainbridge. Funeral services were Tuesday at Lafayette with burial in Clark Cemetery at Clarks Hill.
