Albert Coghill

Funeral services were Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi, for Albert H. Coghill, 65, Rt. 2, Delphi, who died Sunday, July 25, 1982, at 5:55 a.m. He had been admitted to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Saturday night. Born Feb. 25, 1917, his parents were Orliff B. “Doc” and Grace B. Myers Coghill. He had been a Delphi Community School Corporation bus driver for 28 years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Pat) Duff, Rt. 4, Delphi and Mrs. Raymond (Jan) Ward, Georgetown, Ill.; one son, Jim Coghill, Farmington, N.M.; three brothers, Charles Jake Coghill, Rt. 3, Delphi, Fred Coghill, Delphi, and Paul Coghill, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Crook, Rt. 1, Delphi, and Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Wolf, Delphi; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Three brothers are deceased. Rev. Ellis Gasser was officiating minister and burial was in Morning Heights Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Stevie Wolf Rehabilitation Fund.
