Kenny Kite - Class Of 1962

Kenny E. “K.K." Kite, 56, of; Wolfs Leisure Time Camp Ground Americus, died unexpectedly early, Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at his residence. Born Jan. 11, 1944, in Lafayette he was the son of Edward Jr. and Betty Fincher Kite. He attended. Delphi High School. He had lived in the Delphi; Rossville, Lafayette area all his life. He had lived with his aunt, Mary Kite Taylor, for many years. Mr. Kite was a tree cutting contractor with Bob Nape for over 20 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and attended the Radnor United Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his mother and stepfather. Carl and Betty Spear of Delphi; three sisters, Donna Kleckner of Monticello, Kathy Spear Everling of Kokomo, and Loretta Daily of Louisville, Ky.; and three brothers, Terry Spear of Austin Texas, Steve Spear of Delphi, and, Rick Spear of Leesburg, Fla. He was, preceded in death by his father. Friends may call Tuesday from 541 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home. The service will be there at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Mark Ellcessor officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg. Memorials may be made to the Delphi United Methodist Church.
