Jason Lee Roddel, 19, Flora, Indiana, died at 9:25 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 1992 in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana. He was born December 1, 1972 in Lafayette to Glen W. and Shirley A. Ortegon Roddel. Roddel attended Flora First Christian Church. He had attended Carroll and Delphi Community High Schools. Surviving are his father of Florida; his mother, Shirley Ortegon of Flora, a son, Joshua Carstensen-Roddel of Burlington; two brothers, Tony W. of Flora and Troy G. of Idaho; two sisters: Tina M. Hicks and Kristy L. Ortegon, both of Flora; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Bonnie Rieken of Flora. Services were held Monday in Reinke Funeral Home with the Reverend Kevin Keller officiating. Burial was in Ball Hill Cemetery, Cutler.
