Arthur Bradshaw - Class Of 1880

Arthur Edwin Bradshaw, 81, died Wednesday morning at his home in Indianapolis. The eldest son of William and Georgiana Sampson Bradshaw, he was born in Delphi, Sept. 19, 1862. Mr. Bradshaw attended the local schools and was associated with his father in the jewelry business. He went to Indianapolis about forty years ago where he was prominent in the building material and fuel business until his retirement several years ago. Mr. Bradshaw was president of the Columbia Club in Indianapolis at the time the present building was erected, and he also was a 32nd degree Mason. Preceding him in death was a daughter, Martha, and his wife, the late Jennie Jackson Bradshaw. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Faye Patrick of Indianapolis and Miss Jessie Bradshaw of Chicago; a brother, George L. of Indianapolis and two grandsons. Burial will be made at the Masonic cemetery here on Friday with Grimms in charge.
