Robert L. Jones, 87, of Rockfield, died at 7:25 a.m. March 3, 1998, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi.  He had been a resident there since May 1997.
   Born Aug. 21, 1910, in Twelve Mile, he was the son of Charles L. and Carrie Kinneman Jones.  His marriage was on July 28, 1973, in Delphi, to Dorothy McHardie Fincher, who survives.
  A graduate of Delphi High School, he worked 40 years at United Technology in Logansport, retiring in 1978.
  He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Twelve Mile, Logansport Masonic Lodge, and Grand Lodge F & AM of Indiana.
  Also surviving are one stepdaughter, Marilyn Rouhier of Rockfield, and a stepson, Jerry Fincher of Logansport; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
  Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rockfield IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Bob Cree officiating.  Horn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
  Memorials may be made to donor's favorite charity.
