Horace Toole

Final rites were in Huntington, West Virginia, for Dr. Horace Gresham Toole, 73, brother-in-law of Mrs. Frank Morrow of Delphi. Dr. Toole was a retired professor of history and chairman of the department of history at Marshall University in Huntington. He was a teacher and later the principal of Delphi High School in the 1892’s. He was married to the former Josephine Brooke of Delphi, who survives. The couple left Delphi in 1924. Also surviving are one son, Dr. Robert Toole, professor in Franklin College at Franklin and one daughter, Mrs. Ann Beazley, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Attending the services from here were Miss Louise Morrow and Mrs. Joseph Ward of Delphi and Mrs. Josephine Morrow White of Lafayette.
