Marguerite D. Herr, 86, Delphi, departed this life at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday, March 24. 1993, in Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born July 22,1906, in Delphi, she was the daughter of John Doxie Moore and Kay Ann Corcran. On October 9, 1924, in Rockfield, she married Amos L. Herr. He survives. A lifetime resident of Delphi, she was a homemaker. She attended Delphi High School. Surviving with her husband are a daughter. Paul (Meredith E.) Ashba of Delphi; two grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters. Evelyn Huffier of Delphi and Clementine Oilar of Fort Myers, FL. One brother and two sisters preceded in death. Services were conducted Saturday, March 27,1993, in Horn Funeral Home, Delphi, with the Reverend Milly Jones officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi. Memorials can be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
