Wilber Luther Grantham, 88, of Rt. 2 Delphi died Tuesday evening at 7 at his home in Adams Township. Born Oct. 30, 1886, in Adams Township, he was the son of Lewis and Elizabeth Million Grantham. He attended the Delphi schools and was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian Church and the K of P Lodge. A retired farmer, he was a lifelong resident of Carroll County. The past 20 years he had a residence in Lakeland. Fla. On Aug 13, 1922, he was married at Logansport to Lorene McCain, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Richard of Rt. 2 Delphi, a daughter, Mary K. Johnsen of Shreveport, La., and five grandchildren. A brother, Luther, preceded him in death. The funeral will be at 10:30 Friday morning at Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi where calling hours will be from 2 until 5 and 7 until 9 on Thursday. The Rev. William Beswick will officiate and burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Delphi.
