Frank Shoup - Class Of 1939

Frank (Butch) Shoup, 41, of 133 East Vine street, Delphi, died unexpectedly at 6:00 a.m. Saturday at Home hospital in Lafayette where he had been confined for 12 hours. Death was attributed to complications. Born at Battle Ground September 17, 1921, he was the son of Warren and Mae Culver Shoup. His marriage October 7, 1944, was to Virginia Clawson, who survives. He was service manager for Wasson Buick-Pontiac automobile agency at Delphi and was a member of the Liberty Chapel E.U.B. Church. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Vicki, at home: his mother, Mrs. Mae Shoup, of Delphi, and a brother, Leonard, of Pharr, Texas. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Eikenberry funeral home. The Reverend Franklin Arthur officiated and burial was made in Masonic cemetery.
