Fanny E. Elston, 71, Rt. 1, Delphi, died Wed., Mar. 16, 1977, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient one week. Born April 23, 1905, in Adams Township, Carroll County, she was the daughter of George and Laura, Irelan Siferd. She was married in August, 1926, at Delphi to Arthur Dana Elston. A lifetime resident of Adams Township, she was a member of Hickory Grove Church. Surviving with the husband are three sons, Raymond Elston of Rt. 4, Delphi, Arthur Elston Jr. of Rt. 3, Zionsville, Larry Elston of Rt. 1, Burnettsville; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Hufford of Rt. 4, Monticello, Mrs. Mary Blount of Rt. 1, Delphi, Dorothy Elston, Rt. 5, Monticello, and Joan Elston of Monticello; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Roth of Monticello, and Mrs. Bessie Houser of Rt. 2, Delphi; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister preceded her in death. Services were Friday at Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Burial was in Pretty Prairie Cemetery at Battle Ground. C
