Jonathan Disinger - Class Of 1974

Jonathan D. Disinger, 48, of Brookston, died at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, 2004, at his residence. Born in Lafayette on Sept. 9, 1956, he was the son of William A. Disinger, who is deceased, and Bonnie Miller Disinger Dickey, who survives. He attended Delphi High School. Mr. Disinger retired on May 1 as a foreman for Milestone. He was a member of Laborers International Union of North America Local #274 in Lafayette. Mr. Disinger enjoyed fishing and was “the king of tinkering. Surviving are a daughter, Cortney Harmon (husband: Jason) of Delphi; a so, Josh Disinger of Delphi; his mother, of Brookston, his grandmother, Cecelia Miller of Americus; three sisters, Debra Dillon (husband: Jeff) of Camden. Penny J. Walker of Matlacha, Fla., and Tammy Gray (husband: Thomas W.) of Brookston: two stepsisters, Brandi Disinger of Delphi; Mandy Kelly (companion: Ed) of Flora; a stepbrother, Jason Disinger (wife: Lisa) of Monticello; and a grandson, Nathan Harmon. He was preceded in death by a brother, William "Billy'' Disinger; his stepfather, Delbert Dickey and his grandfather, Cecil Miller. Services were Oct. 9 at Davidson Funeral home, with burial at Battle Ground Cemetery.
