Bonnabelle Berry (Foster) - Class Of 1945

Bonnabelle "Bonnie" Berry Foster, 76, formerly of Delphi Senior Citizens apartments died at 10:15 p.m. on Oct. 2, 2004, at the home of her son Jim, near Delphi. She had been in ill health for some time. Born in Pittsburg on Oct. 17, 1927, she was the daughter of Earl and Venie Misner Berry. She attended Delphi High School. Her marriage was to Clarence “Bud” Foster in Delphi, on Nov. 22, 1947, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 12, 1994. Mrs. Foster had worked for Bryant Manufacturing in Monticello, Peters Revington Furniture Factory in Delphi, and was secretary/treasurer for Foster Plumbing for 20 years. She was a member of First Apostolic Church in Delphi, where she was very involved with the church’s music ministry, and participated in several bible study groups. She enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, and flower gardening. Surviving are three sons, James “Jim” Foster (wife: Mary) of Delphi. Byron “Bud” Foster (wife: Maureen) of Tucson, Ariz., and David Foster (wife: Eve) of West Lafayette: her twin sister, Donnabelle Glass (husband: Dick) of Frankfort; a sister. Helen Kurtz of Lafayette; Five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Services are today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Ingram and Lee Howe officiating. Burial will be at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
