Max Miller - Class Of 1951

Max Edward Miller, Jr., 59, formerly of Delphi, departed this life at 9:40 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 1993, in the Indiana Veterans Home where he had resided since 1989. Born July 22, 1933, in Rossville, he was the son of Max Edward Miller Sr. and Helen Kessler. He was a mechanic and was a truck driver for Kroblin Trucking. He attended schools in Delphi. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean conflict and was stationed at Goose Bay, Labrador from 1951 through 1958. He was a member of the Delphi Legion Post #75. Surviving are four daughters. Pam Wallace, Lecann Hunt, and Cindy Anderson, all of Delphi, and Debbie Groninger of Muncie; one son, Max Edward Miller, III of Delphi; one sister, Annette Miller; one brother, James R. Miller of Delphi; and nine grandchildren. One sister and one granddaughter preceded in death. Services were conducted Wednesday. June 30, 1993, in Horn Funeral Home. Delphi, with Pastor Paul Mullikin officiating. Burial was in Pyrmont Cemetery with Delphi American Legion Military rites. Memorials can be made to Koala Counseling Center.
