Word was received by Eva Cassell of Delphi, of the death of Walter D. Blickenstaff, 81, St. Louis, Missouri. He died August 20, 1987. He had been in ill health since May. He was born October 16, 1905, to Eli, a former Delphi Dentist, and Maude Snyder Blickenstaff. His marriage was to Ethel Satterly in 1928, and she preceded in death in 1984. Blickenstaff attended Delphi High School. Surviving are one son, Walter D. Blickenstaff Jr., of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Farmer, and Helen Hudgens, both of Lebanon, Rosemary Hurst of California, and three brothers, Ralph of New York, Carl of Idaho, and Eugene of Logansport. Two brothers preceded in death. Services were held in St. Louis, August 24.
