Mrs. Ada Hinkle, 91, died Thursday, August 11, at 8 p.m. In Burnett’s Nursing Home, Lafayette, where she had been a patient for two years. Born October 8, 1874, at Cutler she was the daughter of Sam and Nancy Jane Herron Armstrong. She was married to Burt M. Hinkle in 1894. He died in 1919. She attended Delphi schools and was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian Church and a member of Rose Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William M. Large of Delphi, Mrs. Elmer F. Kauffman of Lafayette and Miss Mary Hinkle of Delphi. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Jackson Funeral Home. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
