Mrs. Frances E. (Dern) Fischer, 77, of Lafayette died Thursday in Turtle Creek Convalescent Center. She had been in ill health one year. Born and reared in Delphi, she had moved to Lafayette in 1927. In 1932 she was married in Danville, Ill. to Gus Fischer who died in 1959. A graduate of Delphi High School. Mrs. Fischer was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary. Surviving are a son by a former marriage, Donald J.Koup of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine DuMont and Mrs. Lavonna Littell, both of Indianapolis. Final rites were Monday at Lafayette with interment in Springvale Cemetery there.
