Military services for John H. (Huck) Long, 62, formerly of Delphi and Logansport, were Thursday in Lawton, Okla. He died Monday, Nov. 7, 1983, in Fort Sill Army Hospital, Lawton, after an extended illness. He was the son of John and Nola Long. His family moved from Delphi to Logansport when he was in high school. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the Army and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Nancy; a son, a daughter; three sisters, including Anna Bussell, Delphi; and five grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
