Mary was born in Delphi, Indiana on May 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Marie Louise (McGrevey) and Frank  Schmitter.  She married Raymond A Busald Nov. 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2007.  She was a 1946 Delphi High School graduate.

She and Raymond raised seven children and farmed in Rush County.  She was a devout member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mary is  survived by three daughters, Marilyn (Mrs Art) Kozlowski of Oak Forest, IL, Helen Busald of Rushville and Esther (Mrs Burke) Sibrel of Grandview, IN;  two sons, Jim Busald of Lewisville and Paul (wife Michelle) Busald of Rushville; one brother, Hubert Schmitter of Frankfort, IN, one son-in-law, Dan Green and daughter-in-law, Robin Mozingo Busald both of Rushville.  Mary is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great grandchiildren and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Raymond, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Green, one son, Carl Busald and eight brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Apr. 14, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church in  with Rev. Jeremy Gries officiating.  Burial will follow at Rushville's Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM, Apr. 13, 2017 with the rosary recited at 3:45 PM at Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory.
