Jack Wray - Class Of 1974

Jack D. Wray, 68, of Delphi, passed away Saturday-June 14, 2025, at 3:12pm, at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello. Jack was born on October 7, 1956, in Lafayette, to the late Delbert & Mary Calhoon Wray. Jack attended Delphi High School. He worked for INDOT at the Flora Highway Garage for many years, then at the Monticello INDOT location, working 37 years in total and retiring in 2014. Jack was a life member of the VFW 9383 in Delphi. He enjoyed playing his guitars, rock music, was an avid reader especially fiction, Steven King was a favorite author. He enjoyed mowing his yard and keeping his landscaping manicured just right. He loved to travel, especially to Cancun & Cozumel where he would Scuba dive. Surviving: his twin sister-Jacquelyn "Sis" Maxson of Monticello, sister-Roxanna "Roxy" Stoner of Wabash, 8 nephews, 1 niece. Preceded in death by 2 sister's Robin & Sue, 2 nephews Rusty & Thomas, 2 brother in laws Jerry & Jimmy. Services: Visitation will be Saturday from 11am until his funeral service at 1pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. Rev. Todd Ladd officiating. Burial at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.
