Ora Geneva Pool, 90, Rt. I, Cutler, died at 4 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 1996, in the Brethren Healthcare Center, Flora. She was born March 28, 1906, in Tennessee, the daughter of George and Lettie Rogers Bowman. Her first marriage was to Leo S. Griffey. She later married Lewis Pool, who is deceased. She resided in Carroll County for eight years, and previously lived in Dwight, Ill. Before to moving to Chicago in 1951, she was employed at Glove Valve, Delphi. She was a 1924 graduate of Delphi High School. Her memberships include American Legion Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Dwight. Surviving are one son, Harold Griffey, Rt. 1, Cutler; a sister, Florence Goyer, Delphi; five, grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; five, great-great-grandchildren; and step-grand-children. Two brothers, two sisters and a grandson preceded her in death. Services, officiated by Pastor Bill Godby, were Monday at Cree Funeral Home. Graveside services were Tuesday in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury, Ill.
