Robert died on Sept.23, 2008 and was the son of Earl and Hazel McClellan Hathaway and one of 16 children. He enlisted in the Navy and saw action during WWII. Robert married Mildred Dock on Oct. 9, 1949. She preceded him in death. Surviving are sons Brian Hathaway and Douglas and Allyson Hathaway. Also preceding him in death were his parent and sisters Thelma Peters, Ruby Kempf and Faye Eyestone and brothers Russell and Charles Richard Hathaway.
