Mayme Snyder Cowdin, formerly of Delphi, died at the home of her son, Bill, July 9, 1986, in Burbank, Calif. She had been bedridden the past two and one-half years and in failing health three weeks. Born in Carroll County, May 8, 1901, her parents were Owen Snyder and Anna J. Snyder. Her marriage was to William G. Cowdin in 1933. Mrs. Cowdin was a teacher in Delphi school for many years until she moved to California in 1969. She was a 70-year member of the Delphi United Methodist Church. Survivors include another son, Dick, and two sisters, Faye Stadon and Mary Shipley, all of the Los Angeles area. interment plans are incomplete. She will be returned to Masonic Cemetery. Any remembrances may be made to the United Methodist Church in Delphi.
