Georgia Felthoff (Hunt) - Class Of 1944

Georgia M. Hunt, 66, of Delphi, died at 1:20 a.m. April 16, 1993, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she had been a patient for six days. Born March 7, 1927, in Cutler, she was the daughter of George and Dorothy Curts Felthoff. Her marriage was on June 19, 1943, in Cutler, to Lowell C. Hunt, who survives. She attended New Hope schools and had lived in the Delphi community for 45 years. She worked on the custodial staff at Delphi Community High School for nine years, retiring in 1988. She attended the Holy Trinity Church in Frankfort and had been a member of the former Ockley Brethren Church. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and at one time was active in the Women’s Bowling League in Delphi. Also surviving are her mother, of Ockley; a son, Lowell A. "Butch" Hunt of Delphi; three daughters, Marcia E. Allen, Pamela L. Fainer, and Leta C. Hunt, all of Delphi; a brother, Robert D. Felthoff of Camarillo, Calif.; a sister, Janice E. Collins of Ockley; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson. Services were Monday at Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel, Frankfort, with Pastor Michael Baldock officiating. Horn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
