Ralph Harrison - Class Of 1917

Ralph Harrison, 68, a former Delphi resident, died Thursday night of last week at his home in Mount Vernon after a long illness. 

Born September 18, 1899, he was the son of William and Lillie Misner Harrison. 

He was a veteran of World War I and one of the three youngest men from Carroll County in the service. He was married to Winona Russell of Mount Vernon. He was, at one time, a bailiff in Carroll Circuit Court.

 Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. James Munsterman and Mrs. Paul Stockton, both of Mt. Vernon; three grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Charles Bieghler of Burlington, Mrs. Loyal Landis of Tipton, Mrs. Merrill Plummer of Warsaw and Mrs. Russell Holmes of Delphi. 

Funeral services were Monday morning at the Norvelle Mortuary in Mount Vernon and burial was there.
