Roger L. “Stub” Wilson, 66, of Delphi, died at 3:30 p.m. on April 18, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center. Born in White County on March 16, 1937, he was the son of James T. and Kathryn Rogers Wilson. He was a 1955 graduate of Delphi High School. He married Dorothy Whitfield on June 18, 1971, in Delphi, and she survives. Mr. Wilson was a machinist and retired from Ross Gear in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Sandra Christiansen, Sharon Christiansen, and Sheryl Shockley, all of Delphi; his mother; two sisters, Bonnie Humphrey and Sherrie Hinton, both of Delphi; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father and a son. Services were April 22 at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial at IOOF Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
