Larry Dean “Skeeter” Hunt, 57, of Delphi, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 7:40 a.m. at IU Health Arnett. Skeeter was born on November 29, 1965 in Lafayette Lawrence Dean and Wanda Jean (Samuels) Hunt. He married Leeann Miller on August 24, 1989 and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2008. Skeeter attended Lincoln Tech for 2 years, and worked at QC Supply as a small engine mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and being around people.

Surviving is his mother, Wanda Jean Hunt of Delphi, one daughter, Misty Tanner of Royal Center, and one sister, Mary Jo “Jodi” (husband: Jeff) Emmitt of Delphi. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kaylin L. Tanner and Connor Elburn, Caroline Elburn.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Dean Hunt, son, Lukus Hunt, one brother, Russell J. Hunt
