Kathleen Kay (Isaccs) Walters, 66, of Delphi, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 22, 2024. Kathy was born on December 13, 1957, in Lafayette, to the late Paul and Edith (Larimore) Issacs. On July 5, 1974, Kathleen married the love of her life, Brian Walters, who survives.

Kathy attended Delphi High School. In her later years Kathy helped raise her family and was the local baby sitter for several years. Kathy truly had a passion for raising children. In her free time Kathy loved everything horses. She loved to ride horses with her husband Brian all over Indiana. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting with her grandchildren. She loved to fish and do anything outdoors. Her most cherished past time was spent with her grandchildren.

Surviving Kathy are her children; Jennifer (John) Everett, David (Patricia) Walters, sisters; Linda Brian, Sandra Jenkins, Becky Jacobs, grandchildren; Ryan Watson, Todd Watson, Gavin Walters, Zach Walters, Haylee Walters, great-grandchildren; Paisley Watson, and Kinsley Watson.

A funeral service honoring the life of Kathy will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 7 pm, located at Davidson-Shirey Funeral Home, 121 North Union Street, Delphi, with Pastor Dan Gottschalk officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 5 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s honor to Narrow Gate Horse Ranch.
