Michael Jarrell Jr. - Class Of 2024

Michael Craig “Mikey” Jarrell, Jr., 20 of Camden, passed away Sunday-July 20, 2025, at 2:58am, at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, from injuries he sustained in a single car accident near Delphi. Mikey was born on April 22, 2005, in Beckley, West VA, to his late father Michael Craig Jarrell, and his mother Amanda Creathers, who survives. He attended Delphi Community High School, and graduated from Riverside High School in Belle, West VA, in 2024. Mikey had worked at Walmart in Lafayette, and for Dairy Queen in Delphi. He enjoyed welding and tinkering, fishing with his uncle, music, his cats, and watching his younger siblings play baseball and other sporting functions. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed being with them on any occasion. Surviving: his uncle & aunt who raised him-Charles & Victoria Jarrell of Camden, sister-Kristiann Jarrell, brother’s-Trevor & David Jarrell all of West VA, half-brother’s-Brandon & Collin Creathers of West VA, cousins with whom he was raised: Chasity, Chad, Christian, Cayden, Conner, Chance, Sophie, Bentley, & Aiden. Services: Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. A celebration of Mikey’s life will take place at a later date.
