
Gloria Lynn Godby Fassnacht, 61, of rural Delphi, passed away at her home on Sunday-August 17, 2025, at 9:50am, surrounded by her loving family, after a brave and brief battle with cancer. Gloria was born May 7, 1964, in Lafayette, to the late Ralph & Shirley Propes Godby. Her marriage was to Louis M. Fassnacht in Delphi, on February 26, 2007, and he survives. Gloria attended Delphi Community School Corporation. She previously worked at The Andersons Cob Mill near Delphi for 10 years, then for Rozzi Greenhouse in Logansport for 6 years. She also helped her husband on their farm in Carroll County. Gloria enjoyed working outside and tending to her many flower gardens around their home. She loved to hunt mushrooms in the spring and go camping and riding their ATVs around the neighborhood. She was an avid reader, liked Country music and her dog Merlin. Family was everything to Gloria. She dearly loved her entire family and being with them for any occasion. Surviving: husband-Louis M. Fassnacht of Delphi, son-Kevin Hammel of Delphi, son-Kyle Hammel of Delphi, grandchildren: Addison Hammel, Tristan Hammel, & Kamdyn Hammel. Sister-Lisa & Richard Fassnacht of Camden, sister-Kimberly & Thomas Gray of Delphi, sister-Samantha Admas of Delphi. A celebration of Gloria’s life will take place at a later date. Private family burial at Brown Church Cemetery, near Rockfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
