The body of Mrs. Adeline Van Ostran Hawkins was brought from Birmington, Ala., to the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Van Ostran near Lafayette Sunday, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. O. J. Grimes of the Delphi Presbyterian church officiating.

Mrs. Hawkins was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Van Ostran of this city.

The deceased was a registered nurse and was killed in an automobile accident last Thursday while on the way to a home where she had been called as a nurse. Besides her parents she leaves her husband, three sisters and a brother. Burial was made in the Pleasant Run cemetery.
