Charles “Charlie” Edward Marchand, Sr., 82, of Delphi, IN, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Franciscan Health Hospital.

Charlie was born January 1, 1943, in Knox, Indiana, to the late Fred and Audrey (Correll) Marchand. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

On October 1, 1963 he married the love of his life, Judy Lane. They were married for over 60 years before her passing on June 29, 2025.

Charlie retired from Liquid Transport Corporation. He was a member of the American Legion Post 75 Honor Guard. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker.

Surviving are his children: Chuck (wife-to-be, Brenda Grandstaff) Marchand Jr. of Monticello and Diana (husband, Joe) Rush of Delphi; 13 brothers and sisters; 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Judy, Charlie is preceded in passing by his parents, two sons, Keith and Kevin and several siblings.
