Lonna L. Watkins, 80, of Flora, passed away, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born January 29, 1946, in Pittsburg, Indiana to Paul and Stella Pauline (Stark) Berry. She married Dale Watkins. He preceded her in passing on March 11, 2003.

Lonna held various jobs over her years but loved being a wife and mother and taking care of the home. She enjoyed playing bingo at the senior center, traveling, and trying new things in life. She liked things her way and had a quick wit. She loved a good laugh and sharing in laughs with those around her. Her kind heart and love for others will be missed, especially by her family who she loved unconditionally and whole heartedly.

Lonna is survived by her children, Rachel (Gene) Roe and Michele (Ryan) Lawson; grandchildren, Sydni Sidelinger, Connor Roe, Ethan and Monica Lawson; great grandchildren Brynn Snoeberger and Isla Roe; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Paula, Sonny, Stella, Ruby, and Glenn.

A celebration of life will be held at Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 12-4pm at the Flora Senior Center, 115 N. Division St. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel in Flora is assisting with the arrangements. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
