Linda was born and raised in Delphi, Indiana, later moving to Monticello, Indiana.  She was a 1969 graduate of the Delphi High School.  Linda was a huge fan of having her family visit, especially liked having her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews stop by.  Her true loves where her grandchildren and her dog Pepsi. Linda enjoyed playing bingo and scratch off tickets. 

Linda is survived by her, son, Joseph (wife Jocelyn) Taff of Pine Village, Indiana, Shawn Hayden of Monticello, Indiana, grandchildren, Haylie Armstrong, Cierra Cory, Breanna Cory, and Kyra Cory, one great grandson, Calum Joe Robbins, siblings, Brenda (husband Harry) Brooks of Reynolds, Indiana, William "Bill" (wife Cecile) Hayden of Lafayette, Indiana, Tammy (husband Ronald "Ron") Baunach of Reynolds, Indiana, Lisa (husband Roger) Woods of Winterhaven, Florida, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Linda was preceded in death by her, parents, William Hayden and Peggy Cogswell, nephew Shane Hayden.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

Celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Miller - Roscka Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, of rural Monticello, Indiana.
