Idamae Frick, 86, of Plainfield, passed away March 2, 2011. She was born August 13, 1924 to the late Norval H. and Lillian (Stewart) Abraham in Kankakee, IL.

She worked as a bookkeeper at the Veterans Administration and later at Walt's Motors in Plainfield for 15 years. She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church and a volunteer for AARP in Plainfield during tax season.

She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Sue (Bob) Hieston; a sister, Marilyn (Robert) Hunter; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Jason and Rachel Hieston; and a step-granddaughter, Raneigh (Jamie) Tighe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Frick and a brother, Harold Abraham.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the chapel at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, March 4 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.
