Joined the Army Sept 1980 and retired April 2001. Sold new homes for Choice homes until 2008, the housing bubble popped here in Dallas as well. Went to school at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance from 2010 to 2012, a lifelong dream of mine was to get my Airframe and Powerplant license wwhich I accomplished in 2012. Went to work for Lockheed in Fort Worth building the F-35.....unfortunately laid off due to budget cuts. So I am now a senior mechanic for the City of Dallas until called back to Lockheed.
