April Blount Hurley

Since graduation, I have been down some roads that were less than ideal but ended on one that has been paved with blessings. Though stressful quite often, I love my life, as busy as it is. Through my work, I have the opportunity and ability to reach society and work towards educating them in the area of special needs.
It took me more than one try but I finally found my knight in shining armour, who said fairy tales dont come true, sometimes his armour is foggy!
Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to adopt some of my children and work as a CASA for children in the foster system.
I also have 2 step sons and 1 step daughter
3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons

After high school I went to International Business College graduating in 1991 where I studied medical assisting with a specialty in special needs in adults and children.
I then went to a few other colleges to complete a degree in Business.
