Pam and I live in Birmingham, AL, area (North Shelby County, AL). We are fortunate to live on the side of a mountain in the foothills of Appalachians. We live with our 3 cats (strays that we took in) and our rescued Boxer Boy - Doug.
We moved to Alabama to escape the Indiana property taxes. Too bad your governor was not there when we left. We might have stayed if the cap would have been in place.
That senior picture is truly - awful!
Delphi High School was good to me.
Jack's Latest Interactions
I have many fond memories of Art and Bill. I pray that God will watch over all of the Politz family.
Art, obviously led a full and treasured life.

Jerry was a friend, classmate and fellow teammate on Heinold Hog Market Indians (Delphi Little League). Jerry also helped me work on my ol' 1956 Buick Special at his dad's service station, As another friend (Jim Vianco) recently said "it did not take much to make us happy, back then." Those were good days. Jerry (aka Jug) was a good guy!!

My prayers for Bill and Ginny.
He was always such a nice person!

It has been too long since I saw her. I am sorry about that.
Bob was a great friend as I grew up in Delphi.
I recall the times he took me and other kids from West Delphi to Riley Park to play catch and hit fly balls. He was a terrific athlete and loved his baseball and Cubbies.
I hope he was able to see them play and win the World Series this year. I can see the gleam in his eyes as they finally won, this year.
We used to stop by Bob's office in the Carroll County Courthouse, just to say hello. He always had time for us.
I will forever remember Bob and thank him for his service to our country and for being a friend in "the good ol' days."

Thelma was friend and classmate from way back. I will never forget her kindness and that of her parents as they hauled Thelma and her friends (us) to events as Thelma requested.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Furst and Storey families.

Coach taught me to be prepare and give my best. These lessons were taught in the frame of football, but I later learned that they extended to all I would attempt to accomplish and all I would attempt to be.
I was never disciplined (and, that happened often) by Coach that I didn't deserve the lesson. Tony's insistence on perfection helped form me to strive to be successful in all that I attempted. I was not always successful, but even The Coach, Tony Berto could not master miracles.
I will miss Tony.
Sorry to have missed the 50th. Hope all had a great time. I cannot wait to see photos.
