We have 8 granddaughters, ranging in age from almost 11 to 20. Both of our children have 4 girls of their own. John VI and his family live in Illinois. Sharon and her girls live on Armory Road across from the school. John VI retired from the US Army as a Lt Colonel after serving 22 years. Sharon works in the Carroll County Clerk's office. My husband John is semi-retired and his profile appears in the Delphi Class of 1962.
I started working as a Phlebotomist at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette in July 2015. I graduated from Ivy Tech in Lafayette with an Associates Degree in Health Care Support in May of 2015.
John and I married right after I graudated and have lived in our current home since 1967. We both enjoy traveling, working in our yard, relaxing, and spoiling our grand-daughters. We make them mind, but I'm sure they get by with a lot more than we let our kids do. Maybe we have mellowed a little bit.
