Virgina (Ginger) Waymire McCain

Dan and Nicki and I lived in Williamsport, IN for 2 years. Then we moved to the Ft Wayne area where Dan was Soil Conservationist for Allen County. We moved to the country to Woodburn, IN. Nicki graduated from Woodlan High School. And then from Purdue.
During Nicki's School years I was active in their PTA, Soft Ball coach, went on many class trips. I was very lucky that all of the kids (even in grade school) called me Ginger. Taught the Mexican Hat dance to Nicki's Brownie Troop.
I eventually joined the Ft. Wayne Civic Theatre Guild. I loved being in the cast of many musicals.
I worked for several different Law firms in Ft. Wayne. But, I most enjoyed being a Policy Writer for K&K Insurance. The largest racing insurance company In the U.S. I believe they initially hired me not only because I was qualified, but because I stood a greater chance of making it to work if we had a lot of snow. lol
In 1991 we sold our house and Moved back to Delphi.
Dan retired early so that he could devote his time to his Wabash and Erie Canal project. Which has grown by leaps and bounds
I travel mostly to see Nicki in California or wherever she is working on a movie.
Dan and his brother David love to camp in their un-airconditioned motor home. Nicki and I like to have things delivered to us. And not forage for it.
My mom passed away in May 2010. My dad is still doing well at 91 years old. They were married 70 years in January.
Both of my brothers have passed away, so now there is just me.
I also love, horseback riding, bluegrass banjo, and Barry Manilow. Nicki and I have seen him 56 times.
