Retired from teaching in 2000. Since then have enjoyed spoiling six grandsons and two granddaugters. Visiting our yougest son (still single) in Alburquerque, New Mexico. Traveling with my husband to numerous math seminars.
I began co-pastoring with my husband in 1981, and since that time we have shared part-time pastorates at Dixie Christian Church in New Bloomfield, MO; Maysville Christian Church in Maysville, MO; and presently we are at King Hill Christian Church in St. Jospeph, MO. We retired from there in 2012.
RE has now retired and we share our time between Liberty, Missouri and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Youngest son married June of 2014. Living in Albuquerque.
I remember rushing out of school to get root beer, rushing up town to eat lunch, enjoying school plays, and swimming and fishing times at my dad' ponds on the farm.

Happy Birthday Jennie have a good day and hope all is good.
Jennie,
We are trying to get a reunion of Pittsburg Alums planned. We need contact information for you. I know that Janice passed away, but I don't know if your brother John attended Pittsburg during his grade school years. I would love to hear from you. I was thinking you were in Aleta's class, but I see that you graduated in 1962, so you would have been in Jim's class. I would guess that you knew that Jim died from pancreatic cancer in January 2017. Unfortunately, the longer we put off having a reunion, the more alums we will lose.
If you can send me your address and email (if you have one), I would appreciate it. You can reply here, or send it to me through my email
P.S. I have been looking through some Pittsburg memorabilia and came across your cheerleading picture from 8th grade.
Mary Ellen (Scott) Grubbs
Happy Birthday Jennie thinking of you.

Hey John, quit complaining about being surrounded by girls. Of the last 19 messages you sent, fifteen of them seem to be to females. You really STILL love to be surrounded by girls. I had to wait to wait 16 years and seven births to get a granddaughter. But I finally got one (now have two) and finally got to make a Sunbonnet Sue quilt.
Happy Birthday Jennie it is really o.k. to be 70 have a great day and year
