Candi Pastor Harrison

I grew up in Delphi, and I am so proud of my hometown. I'm especially in awe of the folks who are working so hard to preserve the history and beauty of Delphi and Carroll County.

About me: BS and MS from Indiana University; 2 years working at Rider University, Trenton, NJ; 4 years working at U of Pennsylvania in Philly; 24 years with the U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development (Philly and DC). Retired in 2005.

Married Russ Harrison in 1984. Lived in Baltimore and Annapolis. Moved to Tucson in 2001.

No kids. Many dogs. Love living in Tucson, minutes from my sister Shelley and most of her adult children.

Published 5 books (so far) as part of an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project documenting memories of growing up on Delphi's south hill in the 1950s and 1960s. Donated copies of each book to the Delphi Public Library, Carroll County Historical Museum, Delphi Opera House Gerard Reading Room, and Delphi High School. So honored to receive the Carroll County Old Settlers Heritage Award in August 2018, for my books.
